Fern Retreat Timeline

Built by Sam Nicholson, Gorden Mitchell and Les Rollins (the “three musketeers”). Madison Square was named for US wrestling, which was popular at the time. It was an area of around three huts: Madison Square, Cosy Cabin, and Cave Hut. Cave Hut was butted against a huge boulder which formed the back wall.
